Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vetted ("the Platform"), operated by Vetted Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Vetted is a paid messaging platform that enables recipients ("Experts") to receive paid messages from senders. Experts set a fee for receiving messages. Senders pay the fee to submit a message and are guaranteed a reply within the Expert's stated response window, or receive a full refund.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
4. Payments and Fees
All payments are processed through Stripe. Vetted retains a platform fee (currently 10%) from each transaction. Experts receive the remaining amount after the platform fee and any applicable referral commissions. Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect. If an Expert does not reply within the stated response window, the sender receives a full automatic refund.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Platform to send spam, harassing, threatening, or illegal content. You agree not to impersonate others or misrepresent your identity. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you submit through the Platform. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to transmit, store, and deliver your messages as part of the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees you have paid to us in the preceding 12 months.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
